Lappee-Jukola organizer Lappeen Riento offers several good training packages and events for those who want to practice their skills in terrains similar to Lappee-Jukola’s competition area.

 

Spring 2016

On spring 2016 there are not special training weekends. Accommodation options (Lappeen Puisto, lodges and club houses) are available any time. All training maps are also available from 15th April on.

Lappee-Jukola model map (Rauno Asikainen, 2016, A4 printout with 1:10 000 scale) available from Friday 17th June 2016 on. Terrain right next to competition center. Controls equipped with flags, EMITs and reflectors.

1.    TANI

Map by Rauno Asikainen 2015, A4 printout 1:10 000. Terrain is located on the west side of Lappee-Jukola race area and is mainly same type. Map includes controls marked with flags in terrain.

 

2.    NORONMÄET

Map by Rauno Asikainen 2015, A4 printout 1:10 000. Mainly same type terrain is located on the west side of Lappee-Jukola race area, next to Tani map. Map includes controls marked with flags in terrain.

 

3.    MONOLA

Available from 12th September on after pre-Jukola event. Map by Rauno Asikainen 2015, A4 printout 1:10 000. Terrain is located on east side of Lappee-Jukola area and is partly same type. Fast pine forest areas mixed with hills. Map includes controls marked with flags and reflectors in terrain.

 

4.    SYVÄLAMPI

Available from September 2015 on. Map by Markku Pietikäinen 2015, A4 printout 1:10 000. Partly Lappee-Jukola type forest area is located on south-west side of embargoed area. Map includes controls marked with flags in terrain.

 

5.    SÄÄMÄLÄ

Available from September 2015 on. Map by Markku Pietikäinen 2015, A4 printout 1:10 000. Partly Lappee-Jukola type forest area is located on south side of embargoed area next to Syvälampi map. Map includes controls marked with flags in terrain.

 

Training map locations

All training areas have parking area marked on map below. Travelling to training area only via public roads, not through yards or fields. Entering embargoed area is forbidden. Littering on training or parking areas is forbidden.

Booking of training weekends, accommodations and training maps are handled by Lappee-Jukola office.
