The maps for Venla team number 1 are put in place.
A 10m high pile would be made if all the maps were placed on top of each other.
The Kuopio-Jukola map team has worked throughout the spring literally underground. The maps were checked, bagged and packed in one of the safest places in Kuopio, deep underground. All of the 37 350 maps were checked seven times before being bagged.
Now the safely guarded maps have been brought into the daylight. The Venla maps are now in place on the stands and will be guarded throughout the relay.
