Course setters Jarkko Liuha<\/strong> and Petteri Laitinen<\/strong> of Kangasala Jukola\u00a0smiled contentedly when the top teams of the Venla Relay had crossed\u00a0the finish line.<\/p>\n – \u201cIt went just as planned. The places that we anticipated as\u00a0challenging for the orienteers where just that. Women, however,\u00a0are tough runners and the lead went faster than expected,\u201d Liuha Also forkning worked as planned.<\/p>\n – \u201cForkning of the four different controls at the beginning of the\u00a0course worked as anticipated, and we are pleased with it.\u00a0Functioning of the course was also manifested by the lead\u00a0changing on every leg, as the women had to orienteer alone,\u201d says\u00a0Liuha.<\/p>\n Going faster than the ideal time was in part due the ideal weather. The\u00a0winning team Fredrikstad SK crossed the finish line approximately 15\u00a0minutes before the anticipated time. Why is that?<\/p>\n – \u201cThe weather is right-on. It\u2019s dry and it\u2019s not too hot.
