We have made arrangements with local hunting clubs about the use of Jukola training terrains during moose hunting season. During weekends from 13th October on, orienteers should inform the hunters about their training beforehand by text message. This applies to the terrains of Ponsa and Rutakorpi.

If you are going to orienteer in Ponsa during weekend after 13th October and before 6 p.m., inform the hunting club by text message. The number for Ponsa hunting club is +358400345392 (For example: We are coming to orienteer in Ponsa at date + time of day + number of people).

If you are going to orienteer in Rutakorpi during weekend after 13th October and before 12 p.m., inform the hunting club by text message. The number for Rutakorpi hunting club is +358503815188 (For example: We are coming to orienteer in Rutakorpi at date + time of day + number of people).

At night there is no hunting, so this doesn’t affect night orienteering.
