A bear can be found at Joensuu-Jukola relay. Or to be more specific there will be a bear figure, loaned by the town of Ilomantsi, at one of the checkpoints. The bear statue and other small, man-made objects are marked on the map with black symbols. Ant nests and tar-burning pits can also be found on the competition terrain and are as well marked on the maps.
