Follow Louna-Jukola via web TV!

As a fulfilment for many requests, the Jukola Relay can now be followed live via an international web TV broadcast. This service will be implemented by Louna-Jukola organizers and the Finnish Orienteering Federation.

Both relays will be covered in live broadcast. The commentary will be in English by Jørn Sundby (NOR). Several expert commentators as well as former top level athletes will be present in the studio. A lot of live GPS tracking and interesting interviews will be included. This international broadcast also has its own director, with 20 cameras in use.

– We have an aspiration of serving better those following Jukola abroad. So, even if you won’t have a chance to be on the spot, you still have the opportunity to feel and enjoy the atmosphere of Jukola accompanied by commentary in English, extols Event Manager Janne Virtanen.

– Jukola is the most prominent annual orienteering event in Finland. We strive for increasing the popularity of orienteering and showing the high quality of the event even through TV broadcast. Hopefully, every Swedish, Norwegian or other member of the orienteering family staying home has an opportunity to follow Louna-Jukola through web TV, expresses Mika Ilomäki, CEO of the Finnish Orienteering Federation.

The price for the the broadcast is 10 € per relay or, alternatively, 17 € for both relays.
