Erection of sales and event tents in the competition center began on Thursday. On the first day there were more than a hundred avid volunteers to help. Luckily the weather was now on the organizer’s side, as there were heavy rains and forceful gust in south-western Finland the previous day.
A number of large tents were erected. One of them was the media center tent that rose right on the edge of the changeover area. Practically all tents were mounted bu Friday night. Also the festival stage got a roof for itself.
With one week to go, it looks surprisingly “set up” in the competition center. There’s a plenty to be done however during the coming days.
